This summer RDC will be offering a 6 week dance program for recreational dancers. This is great for dancers who are looking to try a dance class for the first time, try a new style, or have some dance fun over the summer. Sign up for the full session or drop in and pay per class.
Registration can be completed online through your parent portal for existing members or by clicking “Sign Up” below for new members. .
DATES: Recreational Program
ATTIRE: Tight fitted clothing, hair secured off face and proper shoes for the dance style
Full session pricing:
30 min class $85.00 + HST
45 min class $115.00 + HST
Multi Class/Dancer Savings (can be shared with family):
2 classes – Save 10%
3 classes or more – Save 15%
Drop-in rates (to be paid at time of class):
30 min class – $16.00 + HST per class
45 min class – $22.00 + HST per class
*Classes require a minimum of 4 dancers to run. RDC reserves the right to cancel a class with low enrollment. *
Pre dance (Ages 3-4) 30 mins
Pre Dance is a class designed to introduce 3 & 4 year old’s to the basic techniques of dance. Students will explore movement through coordination and rhythm exercises, music appreciation and interpretation, creative movement and gameds.
Cost: $85.00 + HST (30mins)
Lyrical (Ages 8-10 & 11+) 30-45mins
Lyrical is a fusion between jazz and modern/ballet. Dancers learn how to move emotionally to lyrical music allowing them to express themselves and tell a story through movement.
Cost: $85.00 + HST (30mins)
Cost: $115.00 + HST (45mins)
Jazz (Ages 4-5 (Kinder), 5-7, 8-10 & 11+) 30-45mins
Dancers will get the opportunity to work on jazz technique at the barre and down the room. Working on combining steps and putting small routines together.
Cost: $85.00 + HST (30mins)
Cost: 115.00 + HST (45mins)
ballet (Ages 5-7) 30 mins
Ballet is the root of all dance forms. Dancers learn the fundamentals of ballet technique while focusing on posture, alignment, strength, musicality, grace and ease of movement.
Cost: $85.00 + HST (30mins)
TAP (Ages 8-10)
30 mins
Dancers will get the opportunity to work on tap steps and technique at the barre, centre and down the room. Tap classes are designed to develop rhythm, style and sound. Students will learn a variety of tap steps working on clarity, and strength in their tap technique all while have a ton of fun!
Cost: $85.00 + HST (30mins)
Musical theatre (Ages 5-7, 8-10 & 11+) 30-45mins
Musical Theatre is a form of theatre combining songs, spoken dialogue and dance. Students will work on lip syncing, musicals and incorporating dance with theatre.

Cost: 115.00 + HST (45mins)
adult conditioning 60 mins
A conditioning and toning class for adults, age 18 and up. Ms April keeps it fun while working out and muscle toning. A great way to stay in shape and keep moving over the summer months.
